4th Place After Day One at Seafair

After being sent to the outside to complete his requalification as an H1 driver and finishing 4th in Heat 1B, JW Myers drove the U-16 OH BOY! Oberto to an impressive 2nd place finish in Heat 2A in a close battle with U-21 Albert Lee Appliance driver Brian Perkins.

Myers had to settle for the outside again at the start and was back in 4th place in the first turn. He quickly passed Greg Hopp in the U-99.9 Miss Rcck and then chased Perkins down, nipping him at the finish by less than a boat length.
