Podium Finish! LV to Reno

After 550 miles of racing in 11 hours and 40 minutes through the desert from Las Vegas to Reno, Sven Ellstrom and co-drivers Mark and Ryan Holz and Brian Maclean scored an impressive second place finish in the huge field in the Pro Turbo UTV Class.

The Ellstrom/Oberto team was the 22nd to leave the start line, out of the 49 entries. At the finish, Sven and Ryan were just 13 seconds behind the winners, who were the first to start. To accomplish that, they had to pass 20 UTV's who started ahead of them.

The team was slowed by the loss of the rear brakes for the last hour, which cost them a shot at the top of the podium.

Another impressive run for the youngest driver in the field and his co-drivers! Congratulations to Erick Ellstrom, Sven Ellstrom, Mark and Ryan Holz and Brian Maclean!
